Balance is the foundation of everything. A balance doesn’t mean symmetry, or even multiplication, which is totally based on rationality. A balance can be supported by an intuition, which is repeatedly trained by rationality. Under such circumstances, asymmetry can be a balance.
When there is a control, there should be a concession to make the balance. Autonomy requires self-control, even though all the essays are based on the flow of emotions, which serves as a methodology to achieve autonomy. What lies behind is a repetitive exercise of self-control, allowing the flow inside consistently, rather than being interrupted from the outside.
Therefore, if everything is to fulfill self-autonomy, it seems that a person is against everything outside, it will be exhausted. Sometimes, a concession is necessary.
However, when to concede and when to persist depends on the person themselves, because there is no argument on core beliefs, but a way to adjust the balance, making one feel more relaxed and free. In other words, concession is like a dosage adjustment.
The key factor for a concession is when you’re capable of giving, and such giving won’t harm you; however, it will make others feel happy. Then it deserves a concession.
