On Failure
Failure is not horrible.

Human beings, don’t like failure. Failure is experienced as a denial. In a society where success is dominant, failure is not allowed. For an individual, the problem is not the failure itself, but generally the outcome of how a society runs, serving as a form of punishment. For instance, fewer opportunities, language violence, and it is harder to get trust.

A failure means a threat to an individual’s security, which will be a barrier to doing it again. That’s the most horrible result for a failure.

Human beings enjoy glory, while failure breaks the expectation of glory. This also makes a failure unacceptable, especially in a society that admires success at a young age.

If taking life as an experiment, a failure is just an outcome of one practice. It’s normal. Clarify your experiment, and do it, accept the outcome, and revise it.
