On Responsibility

Take the responsibility within the boundary.

When there is free space and time for self-autonomy, there is an innate responsibility. Such a responsibility is naturally added to a person to be responsible for themselves because there is nobody else to transfer the responsibility; they themselves are the main object for everything.

"Heavy is the head that wears the crown", that’s where the power and responsibility are situated.

When there is a responsibility, there is a compromise. Self-autonomy is a power for oneself. When everything is in a free mode, one will take all the responsibility for themselves. However, the outside world is not free, which means the outside itself is a limitation; there will inevitably be a compromise to achieve the goal.

Then, when there is a compromise, responsibility is above the “I want” and “I don’t want”. Where the birth of tragedy easily occurs, a tragedy with romantically sublime beauty.

Therefore, to save the emotion, to stop the birth of tragedy, it’s important to clarify the boundary. Only within the boundary, there is a responsibility.

Define the goal, define the limitation, clarify the boundary, and take the responsibility. When the responsibility is clear, the after-effects of the uncontrollable outcome save more energy capacity.
